This graphic was made to commemorate Saturday, September 17th, 2016, when the Marching Illini hosted the Canadian Brass for a halftime performance.
This image utilized a duo-tone of orange and blue, which was popular in Illinois' athletic branding at the time.
On October 8th, 2016, the Marching Illini hosted a special "Twirler for a Day" event, inviting feature twirlers from across the state to join the band at halftime.
In addition to the duo-tone of orange and blue, the image subjects were isolated in full color to draw focus to them.
